My 3 + 1 Passions

1️⃣ I am passionate about the intersection of medicine, technology, and quality. This passion led me to found the Johner Institute, where we help medical device manufacturers develop products that are safe, performant, and beneficial to patients. My mission is to make a contribution to our healthcare system.

2️⃣ I thrive on structure, models, and conceptual integrity, which aligns perfectly with the mission of the Johner Institute and my dedication to regulatory science. I firmly believe that our regulatory systems can be significantly improved, and I am committed to making a strong contribution in this area.

3️⃣ Teaching is another passion of mine. I cannot tolerate when knowledge is hidden or made inaccessible through poor explanations. This drove me to become a professor for 12 years, and I continue to enjoy teaching and public speaking today.

ℹ️ In addition to my intellectual pursuits, I am an avid sports enthusiast. I love challenging my mind as much as I love staying active. You can often find me riding my gravel and mountain bikes, visiting the gym, running, swimming, or skiing (both cross-country and downhill).
