Laura is a marketing and public relations expert with deep knowledge and an extensive track record of success in the healthcare sector. She is a trusted C suite advisor who offers clients strategic thinking and communication programming designed to drive market adoption, sales growth and, when appropriate, successful exit strategies.
With more than 20 years of experience, Laura is adept across virtually all communication disciplines – from strategic corporate and marketing communication programs to corporate and product brand development, company and product launches, direct-to-consumer programs, crisis communications and media relations. She has an innate understanding of how to interest, engage and influence physicians, patients and provider organizations as well as key opinion leaders and strategic industry audiences.
Since opening Nobles Global Communications in 2006, Laura has overseen the execution of growth-focused public relations and integrated marketing programs for U.S., European and Israeli clients ranging from emerging venture-backed companies to mid-size and Fortune 500 organizations. Her experience spans specialty areas including orthopedics, cardiology, electrophysiology, ophthalmology, interventional radiology, spine, pain medicine, neurology, endocrinology, immunology and family practice. She is happy to call clients both colleagues and friends and is committed to offering a level of high-touch service that is the cement of great agency-client partnerships.
Laura was previously senior vice president/managing director for FischerHealth, a subsidiary of global PR firm Porter Novelli. There she provided senior counsel to medical device, health information technology, health services and life sciences clients and led the execution of numerous strategic public relations and integrated marketing programs. Over her five-year tenure, Laura’s many clients included Boston Scientific, Medtronic, DePuy Orthopaedics, Thoratec Corporation, Cholestech, National Oncology Alliance, CSL Behring, Elsevier and Epocrates.
Prior to joining FischerHealth, Laura built and directed a technology- and healthcare-focused account group at The Bohle Company, one of the nation’s top independent PR firms. As a vice president of the firm, Laura led corporate visibility, business-to-business and business-to-consumer communication programs on behalf of clients including CDW Computer Centers, Software AG, Virginmega.com, Eastman Kodak, Packard Bell Electronics, ZLB Bioplasma (now CSL Behring) and Pharmagenesis.
In addition to her agency work, Laura has held corporate marketing positions in wellness/beauty and high technology. Laura received her bachelor’s degree in rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley. She is one of a long line of entrepreneurs, which includes her great grandfather, both of her grandfathers, her grandmother and her father. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband (also an entrepreneur) and eight-year-old daughter.
